I like the idea, but I think you went overboard with the style dither, and the face, is kinda boring, I would have ade it more trollish, but I assume that is not what you were going for, because you did not put it in, in which case I shall shut up..

I made a very rough, quick, sketch of hands for you, and pointed something out to me; his back arm is down lower than his front arm, even though its supposed to be in the backgrounda bit, you should move it up a few pixels.

well, I like the spear head, but the hand is drawn in a way that makes it look like the guardian thing isen't holding the spear, so much as floating it behind his hand... I would suggest to fix this making the spear shaft thicker.

It definitely looks like a zombie bunny to me, I love it..

The eyes look very pinky rather than reddish here, but it could be the colours surrounding it offsetting them.. they look kind of swollen pustule-ish.. (is that bad for a zombie bunny eyes? possibly not)

I'm not sure i understand the angle at the bottom of it's body? Would the legs be like little teddy-bear type things? It looks a bit plushy-like now and that could be cute.

yeh, thats the kinda idea. small, cute, DEAD! lol.
i am going for a not so realistic look, yet not 100% cartoon-like, kinda like a doll. Perhaps the bunny version of chucky?  ;)
