Title: Shooter Icons

I`ve done those symbols for my shooter.
They plot: Health, ammo and ghostenergy (some kind of energy similar to the jetpack in WORMS or SOLDAT used for acceleration regeneration and increasing of attack etc. ...) and points.

Are they good enough or is something wrong with them?

Whoa, is this a horizontal top down shooter? Weird. At first I thought it was side view then I saw the tank and it threw me off.

So going on that assumption...

1. Why is the ground a striped pattern? Isn't it some sort of dirt material? In general, everything is kind of hard to read.
2. That tank really needs some more contrast and/or color variation. Right now it doesn't quite match the rest.

The tank isn`t finished, sorry ;) he needs color and so on.

The ground is stylized. I like it and i guess it is not bad at all :)
And: This is a top down shooter! :)

The ground works for me in an NES kinda way. Maybe you could go in there and just add some random pixels to rough it up a bit?

The rocks, man. I just don't like 'em. The shape's fine n' all, it's the shading that needs attention.
