This would be a terrifyingly intense puzzle if he were doing it by actually rotating the pieces around, but it looks like he's just taking the stickers off.

Even then, it's still time consuming. Give me graphing paper and some markers instead.

you can also disassemble rubiks cubes into the single pixels very easy. Still it's a bit silly AND looks bleh imo. Also what's with reproducing stupid colourreduced photos with fucking noisedither on them. FUGLY!

No it wouldn't, it only takes a minute or two to get 1 side done.

It takes about 13-20 seconds for a pro.. seen those whiz-kids do it on tv?! gee whiz!

Well, that's to solve the puzzle completely. It has patterns that they understand. Making it any different, like making some crazy dither patterns this has going on, would definitely take them longer because they can't do it out of habit anymore.
