heres my wip of an alien head.  i would really like you to comment and crit. if you can edit it, that would also be fine.

I think you would benefit from defining the features more, especially on his neck. smoothing out the lines may also be of some help.

fix up your lightsource, this is something I myself am still learning.

the hair seems to be lit from above, his neck from the left, his chin from the right and his face from the front left. unifying your ligthsource will give your art alot more depth.

i started off with the hair and it seemed to have a light source comming from the top.

well, the head is suppose to get highlights on the cheeks, forehead, the nose (in this case there is no nose) and the chin.  at least thats what i thought.

the neck, well your right about that.  i don't know why i did that ???.
