wow. the smoke, the bricks, the rabbits....
this was one of the best entries, and defiantly got my vote.
-
looks pretty cool. the exclamation point is kind of unreadable above the guy. the windows could use some polishing, right now they look a little unfinished, eh?
-
hahaha awesome - only crit is the rabbit's ears, they're hard to read, especially the bottom bunny's left ear (our right). I think the main problem is no rabbits on earth have ears like that. Their ears either stick up, or lay flat - they don't arc gracefully like a piece of paper or grass! Otherwise, awesome city, great job!
-
Still going to continue work on the Love Machine entry, but thought I might as well upload the WIP for this week's challenge:

Awesome!
-
Cure, you're pwning. :y:
Keep it up, i've got no crits, and i quite liked the bunny ears personally, even if they're 'wrong'.
-
i dont think ive seen somebody use such a low amount of colors in such a clean way as you do. but it would be nice to see what you could do if you let your pallettes reach say, 16 colors?
-
I don't know what I'd do with myself.
-
..That can't possibly be 5 colors :o

Quick count and I see 8 or 9, including transparency.
The light blue doesn't work on the fur very well, especially on the hind leg. It's just too vibrant and should be used more sparingly, I think.
-
GG counted 6, I took one away, then I remembered transparency XD
-
Update.

Bottom two are mspaint variations of the palette
-
Dude, what happened to the turnip thing? :ouch: Must say i do like the carrot too.
I think the top right palette is the best, cus red=devil. I'm surprised you didn't use the orange in the MSPaint palette instead of the pink, as it works MUCH better in my book. Try eet. (Also, try dark red instead of dark green on the bottom left one..)
-
Like so? :

The first image is an early WIP stage I threw in for kicks.
This is something between the top left and top right on my previous post (plus a turnip, for yor, Lar):

Though I think I'll just upload both versions, because I like 'em both equally.

The blue works a lot better in that last one, probably due to it being surrounded by cooler colors than the original.
And I never bothered to ask, is there a reason the guy has horns?
-
Because he looked rather plain. And I felt like making horns. There's really no other reason. It seemed to fit alright.
-
I think the pose of the guy hinders the piece. If you're gonna hitch a ride, the point is to not have to do any work, and if they guy has to hold his arm out like that for the entire ride, he's gonna get an arm cramp. I'd say make the stick longer and have his arms relaxed, in his lap or something like that.
-
If it was from his lap, it'd just look like a phallus.
At least, that's how I'd see it because I'm immature like that.

I have to say for the MS Paint ones, I like this one the best. The MS Paint colors don't really work well with fixed pallets anyways.
I like the latest normal-palette one that you posted the best. It doesn't seem like there should be those patches of light on the boar's knees, though. They look more like colors in the fur.

That's awesome! Is that a giant condom!?
-
Faktablad: The center one, I'm assuming? Yeah, I'll have to try incorporating the entire palette, rather than replacing colors. As for the knee crit, I'll try it out, thnx.
Wakka: Yes. It's some sort of condom-cannon thing, that was intended to shoot some sort of lazer beam...thing. That's a condom dispenser on the front of him, by the way.
