Tis my first post here. Yesterday I was bored so I decided to make my avatar, And I made Gir and Pig from invader zim.
What do you think of it?

And, uh, yeah, it's OK. The sprites are very disorganized in their shading. It seems to just be a couple shades with random dots thrown in. I would have more contrast and AA in it if I were you, darkening/blackening the outline might also help.

Also poor color choices for the background.
As a general rule, your backgrounds should always be less saturated then the focus.

Well actually they were the colours used for Gir's dog suit, Which Im not finished yet(Im doing all four directions including walking.)
