Title: [WIP] Beastie Boy, keep the comment comming.

For the first time in ages I like my pallete. Havent come around to cleaning up the lines yet. I'd like some anatomy crits especially on the arm and the legs. But please don't make his legs bigger if you edit, I did that on purpose. He walks with his hands too sort of like Gorillas. (The hands are not going to stay that don't worry)
I think most of my palletes are boring, I like this one tbh, but if you want to edit the pallete, or the whole thing, I'd apreciate it.

Comment away.

Edit: Saw I accidently added the progress animation, but it's really fast and doesn't loop, so that should'nt be a problem :D

Post by: philipptr on February 02, 2007, 12:02:42 pm: I really like the head. The pallete is pretty nice although I wouldn't use such extreme hue-shifting in the darker tones. In my opinion the pose needs quite some work.. it seems very unnatural even for a character that's walking with hands and feet. Especially the way his right arm (to our left) looks very out of place. Also in this pose it's somehow strange that you cant see very much of his torso. I would move arms and head a bit up and maybe a bit to the left so he's still ducked.

a good image. Hope you don't dither it, it looks good now. You really need to clean up the lines around the hands.

Now you've made his right hand look webbed. Add better defined seperation between the fingers. The dark area on the wrist doesn't need to be that big.

Changed pose of arms and hands to more resemble a gorilla, colour tweaks, muscle tweaks (still tried to keep it very over-sized-monster-ish though ...plus I am horrible at male anathomy), added some back, changed pose of the legs added a second ear, and refined the other to mention some of the things I edited. Not that refined edit.

I've tried to incorperate the darkest purple a bit more into the picture trying to give it more contrast and definition and brightened up the outline in some places.
