Title: character [edited]
Post by: yosh64 on January 26, 2007, 12:51:33 pm
hey

I'm kinda brain dead, and instead of trying to think I just done something.

Hmm, I'm not sure what to think of it yet, I haven't really stepped back to see it or whatever. But initially I think I wanted to get the cloth folds right, and I couldn't be bothered with color, and then I realised this is a nice way to make the pixels show character, I dunno.

I realised you can hardly see it, hopefully it's a tad better now.

Hmm, after doing these edits and looking at it I must say that I don't like it very much at all, hehe. But was still nice todo some pixeling :).

Your edits have addressed the issue I had with the contrast. Only comment I have is that the far foot looks too foreshortened and small based on the angle of the leg.

Studies like this are quite often helpful, in pixel art and traditional art. I hope you got some value out of this little exercises.
