Title: I need help with my avatar!

Here's the lowdown. I uploaded my picture at imageshack, but I can't figure out how to get it as my avatar. I know you need the URL, but I can't figure it out. :'(

Go to the little "profile" button on the top of this page, and then to the "forum profile information" link on the side, the first form is where you put the URL of your avatar. :)

I know that, but what URL should I use? A direct link to it?

well, if you uploaded it to imageshack... then yes. imageshack is an image hosting service, afterall.  :-\

It should be the last URL Imageshack provides you, the one entitled "Direct Link". That's the only one you should be using, in fact.

I have the same noobish problem!!!
I put the Imageshack's "Direct Link" of my image (128x128) in the Personal Text form, but it does not appear!
Who can explain to me the matter?

well that's because it doesn't go in the personal text line, my personal text is unicorn r sunshine, it has a separate place, although i can't find where it was supposed to be entered, which is strange....

The forums has some problems atm because some stuff went wrong with updating, so one thing that is fubar'd atm is avatars :/

Oh, that's good to know. I have been going crazy for the last 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get an avatar in there.  Though, of course, it also took me 20 minutes to consider that maybe the answer was somewhere in the forum.   :crazy:
