Title: [PAID] Need Pixel Artist For A Sci-Fi Management Game For PC
Post by: Thatthing404 on January 16, 2019, 10:30:37 pm
Hello, I am searching for pixel artists that are capable of making animated environments and/or characters for a game I plan to make. It will be a sci-fi management game seen from a side view with what I hope to be a relatively minimalistic art style.

First things first: I value honesty above all. I am a person who is very understanding in general, so don't be afraid to talk to me about anything that could slow down your productivity.

Secondly: About payment. If I happen to pick you for the job, tell me how much you think you should be paid. If you think you should be paid more (or less for some reason) and that I do not properly acknowledge your skills, then feel free to tell me and I may adjust the payment.

Thirdly: About the job, these are the things you'll need to know:

If you make characters, know that not all characters will be humanoid, in fact, most won't. We'll need robots, giant alien spiders, space abomination, strange energy beings and the like. All with their own walking, running, climbing, crafting, attacking etc, animations.
If you make environments, know that we'll need more than simple decor. Props such as Dark matter reactors, Manufacturing tables, Robotic assemblies, and other sci-fi stuff will need to be separated from the rest of the environment, as the players will place those themselves. Most of the environments will be animated in some way.
I won't give you a strictly limited timeframe to create, but I want to see each step of your progress. Each time you stop working for the day, I want you to send me the results of that day, whether those results are good looking or mostly unfinished matters not. If I do not receive a progress report, I will most likely remind you to send one. If you do not send a progress report it is the same as if you didn't work at all. At the end of the month, each day a progress report wasn't received won't be counted as work hours. This system helps me understand how and when you work better. It also makes it easy for me to provide feedback on what I think would be better or worse for the game. However, it is mostly here for simple security.

And lastly: English isn't my first language, so I'm sorry if this isn't written in a professional manner. I'm trying my hardest.

If you think this is a job for you, please, contact me using this site's PM system and send me a link to some of your work. I will most likely only chose one person. If I happen to pick you, we'll discuss other methods of communication.

A person will be picked at the end of this month.

An artist has been picked, no more are required. Any messages sent about this subject will be immediately discarded.
