I must be rude and butt in to say that I'm more impressed by Ryona's Gameboy avatar. I love the idea and you have amazing colors!

Why come into someone's thread and say nothing about their art, save for "It is not as good as something else"? In such a case it would seem preferable to say nothing at all, and send Ryona a private message so she can appreciate your enjoyment without discomfort.
I myself haven't got anything intelligent to say about your pictures, Boreal...the middle one is my favorite :) Probably because the figures are large enough to have expression, and I think they are cute. :P

Nevermind homosexual how. These are gameboy how? They conform to no existing palette or color or size limitations of any existing gameboy hardware that I know of. Am I missing something?

because logically they're not created for a gameboy. possibly a gba; however, they're too small for a gba. probably better just to label them as "game mockups".
going towards the homosexual part of the topic, way out of line. ive said some pretty "assholeish" things in my life but nothing like this and so straight to the public...tisk tisk.

why dont you actually make these full gameboy color mockups then? 160 by 144, tiles = 4 colors, sprites 3+1(transparency) and no more than 56 colors on a screen at once.
