So I got inspired after watching a biography of Kanye West, and started doing pixel art.
I realized that everyone had a "character" but me (yeah, it's an exaggeration) so I decided to make one. Well, this came out. It's me in pixel form, and I only like pixelling in 2x form, so here it is...

I'm working on making the background transparent, but graphics gale is being a dick...

you dont need a "Character" to be an artist man.
art is just art. I like this but i know you can do better on the face, two black squares dont make up for everything else.

I'd also suggest playing around with the palette you have on this piece. It's not bad by any means, but it's not very interesting and doesn't provide enough depth. I'd work on the arms and pose a bit. His right arm seems to be bending too far backwards. In any case, I'm looking forward to seeing more from you.

I updated it, and changed my t-shirt to a green emerica shirt I'm wearing today.

Hehe that is so bad-ass, it really has some character to this little sprite.
I like it, and it seems to be in style so I don't have any crits.
Oh one thing is his jacket on right, where it goes three pixels in, that area generally looks a little odd, but I can understand working with small pixels is hard so I'm not entirely sure how to fix that up. Some else may have a little more help for you, sorry!

Well now it's official you, not Steven, are the whitest person I know. Heh just kidding mate. As for the art, I like it yet I think you should just draw it in normal 1x1 up it to 2x2 and update the details. Just my opinion… It also looks like you chugged a keg of milk.

i liked the first one. milk moustache crit is right, the no mouth thing looked good. sleeve too long on second. i think you should wear your white shirt with those jeans, it looks better.

Here's the update. I fixed the sleeve issue and the mouth. I also changed it to the white tee, since yeah, it does look better.
As for being the whitest person ever, I have this to say...
I am not white; I am 1/8th eskimo.

The guy looks good, E. Can't find anything to complain about considering its simplistic style. Reminds me of Diesel Sweeties...

You may want to try renegotiating the arm that sticks out.
perhaps bring it in a bit and redo the arm-line
then again, i'm obsessed with small limbs for so reason <_<

Ehh, sorry I took so long to reply.
I kind of liked the green shirt better. I also think the glasses could be more lively/bigger, and the hands smaller. The hair could benefit with some kind of pattern, too. Thats about it.
I also watched that biography on Kanye West. Probably the only interesting biography of a rapper that i've seen; it wasn't so typical.
