Title: [PAID] Project Mule: Seeking Pixel Artists for SNES/Arcade-style Beat 'Em Up
Post by: graysonZ80 on November 21, 2018, 03:56:02 pm
Hello! We're Summit Studios, a team focused on developing top notch character-based titles in the vein of the classics.

We are seeking contract character and environment pixel artists to help us craft our top secret unannounced indie game. While I can't share much info publicly yet, I can say that it's a 2.5d beat 'em up reminiscent of classic SNES/Genesis titles such as Battlemaniacs and Streets of Rage. We are looking for spriters who can produce art resemblant of - though not necessarily exactly the same as - Battletoads Arcade.

Skill Sets Required
- Proficient in producing pixel art in 16-bit style
- Can deliver high-quality art on time according to schedule
- Tools can be anything as long as we get .png assets - in-house, we use Aseprite
- Ability to work off of concept art and retain a similar artistic vision
- Dedication and enthusiasm to our project

Some Info
- Money: This is a paid gig. Hourly rates are negotiable.
- Time frame: We are looking to start as soon as possible.
- Scope: Entirely dependent on your speed, but an estimate for full-time would be 6-8 months.
- Location: We are only accepting remote offers at this time.

If this sounds like it's up your alley, please send me an email as soon as possible with links to your portfolio, salary requirement and some information about yourself.

Cheers!
