Title: WIP Nintendo Wii (almost done)
Post by: Twizzler on November 29, 2006, 12:54:41 am: Hello everyone. Well heres my latest work. A nintendo wii. I'm still a beginner so. hahaha you got your laughs. Tell me what you think. :)

I changed outline color and made buttons glossy and 3dish

You could use lighter outliens on the buttons to have them push out more and feel closer to us. You could darken the main body colour so the highlight stands out more. this might give it a plasticy texture.

Post by: Rox on November 29, 2006, 10:30:25 am: It doesn't look proportional to me, but I don't have any reference, so I can't tell exactly what is wrong. But try ditching the black outlines. Nintendo's latest designs are nice because they're so extremely bright and clean and easy to look at, and the black pixels all ruin it. And I might be mistaken, but I believe even the text on the Wii controller is grey rather than black? Like on the DS Lite.

I tried to show you what you needed to do to the buttons, as for the d-pad edit I did... (Don't ask)

I don't know why I made it grey.
But hopfully you can use this edit to make yours better.

Yea, I used your crits and made it alot better. Check out the new version.
