Hey everyone, I'm new to pixel art and not used to working with such a small canvas. So i'm having some issues when it comes to detail work. Anyone have any tips on how I can add a face to her? Any other feedback is welcome as well (:

At this scale it maybe your best bet to do something a bit more impressionist, just doing the Shadows on her face would probably do it I think. Try to put Shadows where there would be shadows, but don't put any more detail than that

Thanks for the advice! I went ahead and tried what you suggested.

I also managed to get an eye and nose in there. I quite like both versions. I'll mess around some more with it and see what sticks.

Hey  :)

Maybe you could change the shadows a bit for your face and have something like this:

Since your light seems to be coming from the right (right in front of her) I think you should keep the right side of her face highlighted.  :)
