Hello together,
Last week I started with pixel art. While I watched some youtube tutorials, I decided not to copy someones style but just try to do something. I would really like to hear some opinions, even if the picture is not finished already. I'am interested in what kind of details you would add to the torso and the shading in generell.

You've kinda goofed the proportions a lot, he's got a giant torso and lil legs and weird blocky arms.
I'd give it another go, try to go a bit slower while drawing and get the framework just right before you move on to the detailwork.
(Also: gah, pinterest is the aids of google image search results. It is impossible to link anything specific off it and of course it's almost exclusively what google's image crawlers pick up anymore. Garbage website I hope it dies horribly.)
