Hello, I am Spyros Kontis, specializing in pixel art, digital art, concepts and 2D animation. I have
worked as the main artist in various companies, such as http://el.y8.com/ and https://megacatstudios.com/
and many other, some of which I mention below.
I am currently available to work on PAID projects, I am open to discuss both flat rates or hour rates.
My prices are reasonable if you are serious about it.

Category B
Here you can see projects I have worked as a Lead artist. Lead artist means the one who creates the initial artistic
direction for a team of artists to follow, supervising them and also being responsible for the final appearance for the
art as a whole to look consistent and according to the client`s tastes. This process is essential when a large project
needs to be done in very short time, so more than one people is involved.

Hi All,

He did some great animations on pixelart made by wolfenoctis. He is really skilled at creating unique and interesting animations and was a pleasure to work with.

Spyros did good work for me. He was very good at listening to feedback, good at giving advice, and is a nice guy.
His art is very solid. I really liked the work he did, and thank him for some free revisions he threw in, when we just couldn't get that one sprite right.

Spyros created several very nice characters for the game Lethal Running (http://www.lethalrunning.com) with detailed animations for walking, running, dodging, dying, melee fighting and just dropping dead.
We got so far the Hero himself, the trunk faced Rogue, the Evil Clown, the Villain, the Knight, the hump backed Mutant, the cute little Rat and his ugly brother, a big fat disgusting Giant Rat.
A great enrichment for the game :)

I recommend anyone to hire him who favors nice pixelated art as his art work itself proves he is a stellar artist with many years of experience.

I've been working with Spyros for over three years now and it's been an absolute pleasure.
The showcase in this thread speaks for itself, but I can vouch his work as
amazing, consistent, and of course, consistently amazing!
His rates are fair and affordable. I'm a habitual commissioner, so I know a good price when I see it.
I have a humble budget, and yet Spyros has provided me commissions of utmost quality and limitless quantity.
He's talented and dependable. Nothing beats a reliable relationship, and we're still going strong!
Spyros has been an invaluable asset, and I make it a point to reserve his sprites for my best games.

It was a little over a year ago when I first stumbled upon Spyros, here on Pixelation, while searching for a pixel artist for my currently ongoing project ( he contacted me through my ad that I had posted here https://pixelation.org/index.php?topic=22779.msg186553#msg186553 ). Since then I have been working, and continue to work, with Spyros on numerous projects for my game.
Together we have worked on sprites, animations, and environmental tiles and he has consistently delivered quality work at affordable rates. He is thorough in his work and can create art that has regularly exceeded my own imagination while having very little initial information to work with. My favorite aspect of working with Spyros is that he is very patient and will continuously strive to improve his work based on my feedback while providing valuable advice to someone who isn't particularly versed in his art.
I can proudly recommend Spyros to anyone who's looking for an artist and I look forward to working with him for the rest of my project.

I'm a solo indie programmer and I wanted an artist to help me with the initial look for my game. I posted a job offer on http://pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=26606 (http://pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=26606) where I interviewed a few potential artists. Spyros stood out from the rest with his impressive portfolio and the quality of our initial exchange of emails. He knew how to ask clear, precise questions to help move the art in the direction I wanted.

Did a great job with a project of mine a few months back. Made easy adjustments and was very versatile. A lot of sprites have trouble with the style but he was great! Would recommend to anyone!
