Title: Some question about dithering
Post by: tecnologgamer on January 08, 2018, 06:21:45 pm
Hello everyone,

Usually one more of my difficults when I color my arts is dithering, I have see many post about this topic to learn who use better this effect, but every time I made it feel like I use so much or I don't know who using.

That was my last art who I made and what do you guys think about it?

Dithering usually just doesn't fit in smaller artwork, which could be why you're struggling with it. Unless you have room for enough dithering that it becomes a solid area of dither instead of just a few pixels, a diagonal line, or a zigzag, it's not going to look like a new colour. Instead of dithering small areas, try to make interesting shapes between your colours instead.

Don't want to sound like an ass but to be honest I see no dithering there.
Keep your light source consistent and try to create some form of texture to show it's really a tree. Then think about dithering if you really need it
