Title: Saving a Pixel Art animation in Gif in GraphicsGale Freedition
Post by: wanderer123 on October 27, 2017, 10:53:43 pm
Hey so I have this software but it won't let me save my animation in Gif; the .gif saving option doesn't appear when I try to save it. I know the free version doesn't have it but the paid one does but it doesn't matter now as the software is now free. I really need this as it's too tedious to use another software for this one feature.

Try updating.
There isn't any paid version any more.
The free version is now fully functional.

Hey so I've downloaded the newest version but it won't allow me to install it. It gives me an error.

EDIT: I've installed the previous version and now it all works- I can save as Gif now.

As a heads up, whenever you get 20 bux together try to upgrade to aseprite. That program is an absolute godsend for pixel artwork.

I think I can pay those $20 for aseprite but I don't want to leave this GG because I am so used to it.

There's a free beta version, try out the old one. The new one has some truly exceptional features worth the switch though.

You can also compile yourself.
