Heyo, can I get some pointers on how I could better this piece?

If thats a cardboard box, I'd suggest shrinking those bold outlines. This also depends on what kind of style you are going for. I have an example of some cardboard boxes I did during a rain storm.

Because mine were damaged I wanted to show folds and dark spots to convey that it got wet. Though if you're going for that hard edge look, there is no doubt to me that your box is a box.

Glad to know it looks like a box xD I did some more, and put them together in a pile.

I now really want to make my boxes soggy and dirty, though. Any tips?

Just some small QoL changes I made, I mostly found the colours boring, so I tried to make those more interesting. Also showed the light source in the outline.

A more muddy/muted color selection I guess. Depending on how long that cardboard was taking on water, it probably wouldn't retain too much vibrancy

Apologies for my late response. I got swamped in schoolwork; I'll be back in this threat with an update on the boxes when I can, just thought I should give an update as it'd seem rude to suddenly stop responding without a word >__>"

I really like the way your big ol' stack of boxes looks. Looks very much like it could be a background object in a video game.. Either way, can't wait for you to show us your dirty boxes too~!
