Title: [WIP] MAC-10 Sprite
Post by: Plankdank on February 12, 2017, 01:50:01 am
This is something I whipped up pretty fast.. I know that this sprite could be improved a lot, but I'm not exactly sure on how to improve it. (http://i.imgur.com/ly3fCya.png)

Careful about that pillow shading!
Pick a light source and stick with it, there's no lighting that would have the edges darken like that!
Think of light like a liquid splattering against the surface and work from there, that was how it clicked for me.

I plan to use my sprites in a game at some point, so I'm not sure about shading.

Practice! It's like riding a bike, once that initial concept clicks you start being able to do it way easier.
Start with spheres and cubes and work your way up, use references if you can!
