Hello! Wanted to try to get some critique so I felt like giving this forum a try. This idea is for a practice for if I were to pixelate a platformer game. The biggest stuff I am looking for it advice that can improve on the general pixel style (characters, backgrounds) as well as how the background/character/etc fit together in a game setting. Ill be happy for any kind of critique though

Went with Succubus character cause I like the idea of a having a character that is a Lawful-Good Demon ever since I played Planescape Torment.
Some stuff I am aware of so far:
The "health pickup" is defiantly a placeholder, I dunno how to make it fit the style, adding more lighting?
Background has some jaggies that I know I should look into fixing aswell.
Thanks for your time!
refrences:
Character: Succubus from Disgaea
Backgrounds: Momodora series (especially momodora II)

I would remove the single pixel details in the background.
The character's legs look a bit weird.

Yeah looking at the one pixel details it makes it look a bit blurry, probably not needed and can remove it. The legs I agree do look a bit weird but I cant put my finger on why. My best guess is maybe the perspective, maybe one should be overlapping the other more with that pose.

I agree with the others about the background, the trees/grass make it a bit to detailed, i do like the symplistic mountians tough!
With the health pickup I would first just try out a couple of things, at the moment i cant really tell you what to do with that except maybe make it a bit smaller, looks pretty big for a health pickup
