hi guys. got stuck with the portrait, mostly with light/shade. need your help

hairstyle that short wouldn't cast much of a shadow, that's usually reserved for longer/crazier styles. Try to tweak the face outline too, it gives it a chunky look that I don't think is quite working here.

I think it actually looks pretty cool as it stands, but I agree with MysteryMeat that the neck seems too thin for such a wide head, and that the shadow's too heavy under the hairline. I think I'd just make the neck and shoulders wider to compensate for the wide head, though.

It's nice and simple at the moment. I like 'em.
