Title: First pixel art

Hey there! I started watching this guy called FrankieSmileShow on youtube today and I fell in love with pixel art. So I downloaded Graphics Gale and started right away! (well, first I watched some basic tutorials...). I created these two figures and I would like some critique. What worked, what didn't work, is the shading alright, are the highlights alright. Anything really... So here they are:

You have to use the direct image link from imgur.
