You know I'm all for colors where they don't belong, but when hue-shifting looks ok only at 1x zoom ( 1024x ) and looks like holes in clothes and green stains on shirt at any other zoom, you gotta unify, man, you gotta unify. Group the hues closer, remember to take saturation away from the 'jack of all trades' shades until everything is close, but not over, the threshold of readability and cohesion. Right now you're punching holes, it's cool but it would probably benefit you to go the extra mile to tie it all together. Tell me if you want me to give it a try myself.

Fantastic pixels you made there. The jacket's shiny, well I kinda have a nitpick on that. Looks like a plastic or metal jacket. You can have it shiny if you like. The right hand is missing. It looks like an invisible pocket he's putting that hand in, hehe. Good luck. The piece looks great overall.

heres my edit, though you may not like it.  generally, color regions are defined by hue, saturation, and value.  in order to be believable, in general, at least one of these must be unified and toned down.  Helm tends towards saturation unification and reduction, myself towards value.  i also pushwed some things around....better explanation whn im not late to class

Cool edit Adrias. That should help him out. That blob of red orange pixels on his knee looks like a piece of fabric was removed.

I think adarias pretty much it the nail on the head.

pretty cool, but perhaps add something else in the scene, or a background?

helm, i need to rip your brain out of your head and find whatever helps you with your colors and styles, turn it into an energy drink, and sell it.  basically, that edit is awsome.  added alot more realism to it

Yes but at the expense of color vibrancy and readability (perhaps). Choices have to be made, I'm just offering a different point of view.

just another point to make, because now im lat for a different class, palette unification imo is almsot always a good thing.  mine uses 12 colors, and i think my gaps might be too big (though not so if i lightened that dark dark blue) where yours and helms use 18 and 17 respectively, but helm's edit however does something yours hasnt quite yet gotten to which is to make things look smooth, this is a byproduct of both his dithering and the new palette hes employed.
