So far only happy how the head turned out.
Is this correct way to shade this kind of cloth?

Hey! Looking nice. I love the style and look so far.

A few things:
The proportions are whack. The head's too big. Fix it and go from there, in my opinion. You can also adjust the other proportions based on the head, or scale itself down.
The pose is rather stiff and looks unnatural.

Going good so far!

You would definitely benefit from doing some anatomy and fabric studies. Research how anatomy and fabric behaves before you actually go on to making a piece where it's quality will rely highly on your knowledge on those two subjects. When doing studies, I would recommend you start with pencil and paper before you go on to pixels. Because the aforementioned medium is way easier to understand and manipulate.
