Title: (PAID) Looking for an 2D artist for our game
Post by: ironmaiden947 on June 15, 2016, 07:27:19 pm
Hello everyone,

We are a two-person indie team, working on our first video game. We are looking for an artist to draw / animate our characters. This is a paid job. We need clean, simple pixel art, so you don't have to be a professional. The main batch will be four characters in a spritesheet, complete with their animations. Think of it as a small job that will take something like a week of your time.

If you would like to apply, please mail me at umut.seven@graviton.io with a link to your portfolio. A PM is good too.

Thank you!

Hmm, it would be nice to have some art examples and also the size of the characters/sprites that you are willing to see in your game =)

Sorry for the late reply!

What type of game is it and what type of art style are you looking for.

It is a four player 2D platformer & arena fighter. When it comes to the art style, we are thinking about something like Towerfall / Samurai Gunn, but a bit more detailed, cleaner look. We are very flexible though, and very open to suggestions from artists.

the size of the characters/sprites that you are willing to see in your game =)

The characters we user are 66x92 px, so around that size. As long as it retains the w/h ratio, then we can make it work.
