Title: My protagonist, first attempt (c + c)

So, i just started with pixel art, this is my first attempt of making a descent looking protagonist. But i'm not really happy with it. Maybe someone has suggestions?

I like your style, but my only critique is that the black outlining on the leg bracers is a little jaring.
