Im trying to get back into pixelart so i made this zombie in paint using the c64 pallete.

Overdithered? HELLYEAH!
Ive always thought that the c64 pallete looks as bad as the ms paint one. however. after being back at this forum for a few days now and have seen many good pieces with it. i realise that it was the art using it and not the pallete itself i dissliked. (the art might have been good but used the pallete badly)
this is probably the best pixelart ive done in more than a year(mostly because i havnt done that much else).
here is the two most rescent pieces i made before this(afew months old i think).

The pillowshaded highlight in his hair is really ugly. I wish you would've broken up the highlight with it following a few strangs here and there, rather than looking like it's all one mass. You really went to far with the aa on it, I think, the lines for the lips and nose especially look blurred.
I really like the zombie though. I think he'd benefit from some more contrasting shadows (not says to change the colors, just apply the dark brown or the gray in the skin more liberally) and broader shoulders though.

Yes ive been told by many that it looks like emo spock :P
but that wasnt the piece i wanted c+c on (still apreciated) His hair was made so because i think emo people have to slick hair.
blick: could you give some example by blobbing out some color on the zombie to give me an idea? only place i can realy think of is on the side of the nose and possibly under his cheek bone.
