Why do like two pixel at the tip of the foot suddenly disappear as well?

Also, if you look at your animation, it looks like the back half around the stock of the rifle move down before the rest of the barrel does, so it looks like he's moving a noodle or something. Might want to make the rifle move all at once, since it's a solid piece.

I fixed his foot thing. (http://pixeljoint.com/files/icons/full/plasticsoldier__r1999709991.gif) But I don't quite see what you see in the gun. To me it looks like it's moving as one piece? I looked at it for a while too and didn't see any "noodle" effect. Not that I don't believe you it's not there, I just don't see it.

its kinda weird how his rear foot moves as he raises his rifle.
can't think why that would happen as it doesn't seem related to the action.

The foot movement looks like an attempt at the character getting better footing for the action of shooting, and then moving back into a neutral standing position to reload. The reason it looks weird is people will tend to stay anchored on the "back" foot, and move the front foot, the opposite of what's happening in this animation. In my opinion, it might be best to keep both the character's feet planted, since people don't lean back to reload if they're planning to shoot more.
