First I would like to apologize if there are any mistakes in my English, because I'm using the google translator to write this text.
For now I have just two animations:

IDLE

RUN
It's a Viking with a leather cover and shoulder pads. He will attack with an axe. :)

Great design, and the animation has a nice pop too.
It was made with no regard to banding, clearly, and that would be an easy fix.
Can also make the mustache bounce, and the beard could be thicker.

Thanks for the tips. And for the nice edit :)
I just did not understand the phrase: It was made with no regard to banding

You can find definition of banding among the other things in this great tutorial. :)

Thank you :)
Now I understand.
I did an edit and added an axe, but do not know if it was good, it just hiding much of the character's body.

Looks really nice! Love the colour choices, they feel fresh.
Couple of things that bugged me about the animations without a weapon.
The cape flapping about looked like a tail to me rather than a cape when I first looked, the shape and movement didn't look quite right, if he's always going to be carrying a weapon though I guess that doesn't matter now :P
The idle bob up and down looked a bit strange too with the between the leg area. You have a 2 pixel high area for the "waist" when he bobs it splits into 1 for the waist and 1 for the bottom of the cape, but when he's running it's always two even though the cape is flapping out the back now. Maybe it's fine but looked a tiny bit weird to me.

Thanks for the tips, spO_oks :)
I did quickly this attack animation.

It's looking good!
The impact could do with more of an erm... impact :P
He doesn't really have knees to bend, but you could try getting his head down a bit and forwards and maybe extend his reach out a bit, try looking at some reference pictures of people chopping wood.
The blur effect seems a bit to heavy as well when he jumps up and comes down again, maybe focus it more on the weapon rather than the whole image.

If you want to add a bigger impact to the swing, I think stretching it a bit horizontally on the frame of impact could look great.

I like the drag of the axe in the air. Nice effect
