Title: Seamless Material
Post by: RujiK on August 20, 2015, 12:32:13 pm
Long time lurker and mediocre pixel artist.

Seamless tiling is a big issue for pixel art, so when I saw that the 15th irregular polygon that can be seamlessly tiled was discovered last week, I thought I should share. It has definite pixel art applications but it might be hard to apply on a small 16x16 tileset.

Hope this will be useful to some one.

1975 seems to be cheating by using multiple shapes

It's not, it just looks a bit like that because of the low resolution and aa. It's the same pentagonal shapes.
