Title: Warrior
Post by: fil_razorback on August 25, 2006, 07:32:01 pm
I wanted to pixel something but I had no idea about the subject...I was listening to "Warriors" by Freedom Call so I decided to pixel a warrior. Coolest story ever, isn't it ?

I'm not happy at all with the result but I don't know why ;(
Feel free to give crits, comments, edits and recolors =)

Hehe cool story ;) am not a really good pixel artist YET.  but i think the right arm isn't right. it's to "round" or smooth or something. Look at your own arm, it's not like that. it needs a sort of crack in his arm

I think what morph's tying to say is that it looks like rubber, like a bending noodle.
It should be at an angle, I think.
And the boots look too big.
But it's nice.

not happy at all hmmm, well, it looks fine! Maybe you mean that you have imagined something different than what you actually drew/pixelled...

some mini-crits in my opinion, could include the round elbow, as mentioned, and also the lighting on the jaclket seems too simplified, and the location of the sword behind his head could be adjusted to make a stronger silhouette, I originally thought that he was wearing a viking hat with horns on the side....
