Title: [C+C] 4-legged and 2-legged run and jump animations
Post by: Nevlov on May 27, 2015, 09:22:33 pm
I created these for a game project we're doing in our spare time. I'd love to get some pointers on lighting and the shape of the legs (especially on the 2-legged one) and how to improve on them because I feel those are the areas that could use the most work. Also the cape of the sheep in the 4-legged one feels a bit off so any pointers on that would also be greatly appreciated. And any other comments/suggestions you have ofcourse ;)

He-he, that looks funny. It`s more like a little goat learning how to jump ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRpPgg3_WEg )  :)

Watch how it works: the horse runs, then it pulls both legs (simultaneously) a bit more forward, pushes itself and at the same time tucks front legs, and somewhere in 1\3 of the flight tucks rear legs.

lol nice goat.
running animation jitters around a bit try to smooth out his position.

i dont think legs feet should flick forward for jump.
try angle the torso up point the front legs forward but curl the feet back underneath, then angle torso down and point feet down on decent.

Hi, I'd exaggerate it's form at the zenith. Sort of like spiderman.
