Title: tractor trailor
Post by: Red_Mist on October 08, 2014, 11:20:12 pm
Made a truck.  ::)

Anyone here have any idea on how to improve the tires?
Other than that, I'm pretty happy with it.

Because they're perfectly circular, they appear to be facing the camera head on instead of being at an angle like the rest of the vehicle. I'd just squish them a bit horizontally and then clean up whatever needs to be cleaned up. :)

Looks like the back right tires should be visible as well from this perspective.

Thank you both! This is why we have a forum. I've been staring at this for quite a bit of time. I could see some things were off.  I needed another set of eyes to bring the obvious to my attention.

I think I improved the truck, but the tires still dont seem to be rubbery enough.
Definitely an improvement imo.

I suppose you used an example, but maybe you could use other colors (so many grey is boring) and another shape like this

In this example, you can see the front is nearly same angle than yours , so wheels are more compressed

All metal part could have some highlight :)

the cabin seams to be too large with your shape
