Hello! I learned a lot about shading from my last post, so I tried to focus on that for this one. The ship is for a spaceship game I am making for fun with some friends. It will be one of the bosses.(http://i.imgur.com/xe25jC9.png)
Please note that the i want to put 3 animated cannons on the 3 blank circles. I am also not sure about the front of the ship. I would love some ideas on detail as well.

Why are the highlights different on each circle? ??? Such thing you drew is just impossible even with multiple light sources.

I think more contrast would definitely be helpful, especially on the metal parts. As for ideas for the details, possibly some windows and an decal on the back fin would be pretty good. If you want the ship to be really detailed, you can add large antennae, some holes cut out of the ship (to decrease weight when constructing or maybe battle damage), and maybe a docking bay. If it still looks bland you could always throw on a few ridges and indentations on the edges. The design looks pretty interesting overall. Good luck!

I added the cannons, and will post later when I have more details done. This is a later boss and so I will be working on some of the early enemies. I will post those as well.
