Some more animations. The prototype is also shaping up nicely, my sound designer buddy is helping me =)

Fairly solid prototype :

• random sounds (gunshot, footstep, police voice, etc…)
• some kind of dynamic lighting
• character control pretty ok
5 days remaining to make a game with it !

If you wish to play the final game: http://timsoret.itch.io/the-last-night
Tell us what you think my friends !
I'm a bit sad nobody here made a game though :'(

I really liked the art in the game, infact the only part I didn't like was that the 4 robots you have to shoot before the bouncers kind of ruined the pace of the game.
-
probably one of the coolest prototypes there(still so many to try). really loved the art. controlled fluidly, albiet slowly although it gave me the extra time to appreciate the enviornment even more. and chemise in the club definitely earned you extra points. donated 3 bucks(im a super broke college student(super lame overused excuse but alas tis the truth.)) but any way great job.
p.s discovered behind nowhere through this. my interest is definitely piqued.

Oh thank you alldapurps ! You're one the few who gave us a few bucks, really appreciated ;) The amount has no importance and 3$ is pretty huge for such a small game ! Give me your email in PM so I can send you our real game later ;) Behind Nowhere is likely to be delayed because of the tremendous success of The Last Night, we are working on a extended version featuring a famous artist ;D
TheBombSauce : I agree with the gameplay being very rough. Obviously in six days I was severly limited by what I could code. No vertical gameplay, poor AI, no walking humans, etc… We are definitely doing something a lot more complex & refined for the real game coming later this year.

Finally got around to playing this through, really enjoyed it. :) Congrats again

nice work man, T for trigger was an odd choice ??? (an attempt to simulate your actual trigger finger?) but other than that awesome work, loved the art and overall vibe. not very subtle of a hitman though haha BAM BAM BAM BAM *smoke break*
wish i had the time and or a collaborator to do a project :'( I found out about it too late via this thread, and a coder and cyberpunk junkie friend was ultra keen but wished he had known about it sooner too.
keep us all updated on the major project :y: hope you do a linux build too considering the list of targets

looks like you guys won the overall vote. congrats. you deserved it.

you know what I'm thinking? you made this in a week, so you could probably do episodic games with short bursts of gameplay. maybe take two weeks to make something a bit longer each release?
