Hi, looking for tips and pointers plus feedback on this guy.
Will post updates on changes :)
I'm pretty newbie.

I'm still new, so I can only give you advice on what I see, not how to fix it. To me it looks like he has wings, and the feet look a bit awkward to me. The foot lifted up looks like the other one with just the bottom of the foot painted below it.

Did a quick edit, you really want to try and stick with the light source you use. I really like how you did the hands here, try to do the feet in a similar fashion, use foreshortening. I tried to fix the face up and make the pan look more believable of a metal by making it grayer and giving it a higher contrast. Keep up the good work! Hope this helps!

an edit for you (http://i.imgur.com/iN8m7xs.png)

I liked how you used contrast to distinguish foreground arms from background body. The major problem  you have imho is that the silouhetto doesn't reflect that well. Moving the hands so that the fingers stick out of the shoulders line makes it read more immediately as "hands". I'd also suggest that you use a different color for the claw, so that claw-over-torso reads better.

Finally, you've got imho art line cleaning that is still needed in the hands.
