Looking good there. There are somethings we should fix up. The contrast should be higher. Make the colors less neon. Here's an edit. Good thing you got the hue variation locked in. That's a good start. For making robot arms, use the arms of escalators as a reference. Add armor to the shoulders of the robot arm. Here's an edit.

Personally I think your edit makes him too unbalanced. He looks like the weight from the robotic arm is gonna make him topple over.

I tried to make an edit but maybe I'm not qualified to give you some really good advice.

I like this sprite, so i too felt like making an edit:

Played a bit with contrast and saturation of the flesh tones, removed the interior outlines, edited the anatomy to convey the muscle volume more correctly, and more accordant to the light source. Also brightened the pants, shifted the highlight a bit towards yellow, and redid the shading to a simpler shape, to better convey the volume and lighting interaction of the legs. Added some highlights to the hair, to make it pop a bit.

I quite like your metal effect, and the colors you chose there.

Andy Tran- Thanks but it does look unbalanced.
Robert- The edit helped me with light contrast.
Turbo- I really like your edit im gonna take some pointers from it.

I tried again. i dont think i got anywhere new.

Increase contrast in the pants and hair. I can hardly tell that they've been shaded. The body colors are looking better, but I really do like the intensity of the tones Turbo used, while you used a less powerful red.

His legs seem to have a slight inward buckle. I dunno if that's purposeful or not, though.
The dark outline on the chestplate seems to seperate the cyborg arm from the body, and the pink midtone on the flesh makes him a bit less defined. Also, his head is either really small, or he's really tall...
As stephen said, the hair and pants could use some higher contrast, but overall it's looking good.
Keepitup.

Looking better. You don't have to take my edit as an advice. Just giving you ideas on shading it.

Nice edit there. There's one problem is the metal shading. When shading metal, I wouldn't make the tones stacked together. I would make them more further apart. The contrast is good. I'ld leave the contrast there.

Considering he didn't add any colours I'd say that is one hell of an edit and certainly does fix a lot of the issues.

I'd study this one hard if I was you iEmo.

Yes, that is a phenomenal edit. The shading on the torso is ace, as is the arm. Also corrects the anatomical flaws, far as I can tell.

As to the piece as a whole, I'd alter the pants a bit, make them not so... skin tight. Not that there's a problem with skin tight pants, it's just that if they were even a tiny bit baggier (say around the crotch/ankles, for example) the resulting folds'd make the lower body more eye catching.

Good stuff, keep at it.

Awesome edit right there.
iEmo, your original arm needs to look more robot-y, not like you took the arm and covered it in metal.
