Title: Pumpukin
Post by: Ymedron on December 08, 2012, 03:06:22 am
I've been letting my pixel-art inspirations fester for a while, and I come back with another attempt!
Sadly Im still having trouble understanding the ramblethread, but I tried to avoid one-pixel clusters for the most part..?

Edit:
Uploading it made me do some more tweaking, very inconvenient.

Quick edit:

- Your original colors did have some good color contrast, but it didn't seem to be nearly enough.
- Some of the internal, jaggy near-black lines were detrimental.
- Some noise at the bottom of the pumpkin.

Overall, pretty interesting pixel so far.

Consider rethinking your character design. Not in any drastic way, but it would be nice to discern what sort of emotion the thing might be feeling, which is impossible currently.

Hm, true...
I didn't consider it an actual character while doing it. I'll try to take that into account on my future sprites!
