Title: Sci Fi Pixel Art Critique

I've begun making pixel art recently and learned only by looking at games, so I'd like to see if I could learn new techniques or what I'm doing wrong.  I made most of the content just fooling around, not trying to accomplish anything. I'll try to make more stuff if it seems I haven't supplied enough content to judge.
Thanks for looking.

I'm pretty new to this so i can't really give a good critique.
I think all the stuff you got there looks ok.
Just curious what is the 8th thing to the right, a suit?
Anyways great work hope to see more  ;D

Thanks. Yes, it's a suit. I decided to use the colors I had picked out for the missile flames to make some more weapons and stuff. I made all of this really small while zoomed in a lot, so it might have looked better full size. Thanks for the compliments.  :)

I learned from reading various guides that I'm pillowing when making pixel art, but only after I made an animation of the main character.

I've compiled a list of stuff I need to fix, but more stuff to add to the list is appreciated.  ;D

*  Head and visor perspective is odd while turning
*  Gun moves row of pixels above it when firing
*  Foot on right side sinks into the ground
*  Leg animation needs work, but I can't put a finger on how to fix it.

I might do a running animation after this, and I'll try to work on keeping the light source consistent.

I've got a title for it now...

Though "Shot" is a pretty lame name.
I tried a bit more fancy stuff with the shading this time, not just sticking to a couple of colors. The guy shooting I've messed around with to work a bit better, but the fundamental movements are still the same (which I think were flawed to begin with, so I'm going to need to find a way to do it better). Anyway, I might make a background too, but seeing as I'm not making this for a game, it kind of leaves me without a purpose making all this stuff. It's fun, anyway, and I might learn some more stuff about pixel art while making it.

For a beginner, you're making serious progress!

I think there are too many frames with too little movement at the beginning. So he slowly rotates then drops to his knee. The amount of movement between frames is how quick the animation will look. So if you have too many frames with too little movement, the animation will look slow. Try experimenting by just removing frames altogether, especially from the first half of the animation.
