looks pretty cool. I like the colors you are using.
I'd say maybe work on your lightsource..
you seem to be using some shapes that are round, but the shading on them is off a little.. check this page out: http://www.itchy-animation.co.uk/light.htm

well something I did awhile ago, but when I got around to posting the site went down  :ouch:

I think the colours and lighting could use some work, I think the dingy green yellow doesn't look very flattering on most things  :blind:

this is probably too gold, but quick colour edit, then a quick resprite to illustrate what it'd look like with more toon style shading
