moo!

It's a forum avatar. Not sure how much extra I'll add. Maybe a BG? Yeah I think so.

Atnas told me to add hoofs so I'll do that.

Any other comments welcome!

looks cute, but it almost seems like the cow just has a grass chinbeard, instead of eating the grass. maybe add a visible lower lip and have the grass coming out of it?

I think you can ditch the black outline, though. It'll look better, and also fit in better with the style you have on the environment.

Added lip, removed outline and added gratuitous sky swirlies. Darker hooves didn't look right, so i'm trying the opposite: lighter back legs.

Hey look at that, it tiles!

Cool! You could also add some highlights to the nose, which would probably be moist and thus give off light. It could help define its shape some more. Also, some simple shadows on the cow itself.

Nose shinied. Tried shading the white close legs, didn't work. Cow shall remain unshaded!

I think it's about finished. Cow where are you?

edit: posted the wrong image d'oh

i think it looks a bit odd with the two different colors/layers for highlight on the nose. the rest of the cow and everything else in the piece for that matter only has about 1 - 2 levels of depth color wise, so why should the nose have 3 levels? (does that levels thing make sense?) i think if you just had one color for the highlight on the nose it would look better. possibly one with not too much contrast on the main pink.

suffering from sawhorse-syndrom, cows don't spread their legs like that. also, thought about adding an udder? the head feels a bit separate from the body, especially since cows have such heavy necks.

edit: just saw that it's a calf, so I guess udders aren't necessary. Though udders are the best part about making a cow.

It's a cartoon, I don't think that it's necessary to be like a real cow
