Well i got in the random mood to sprite something and thought of stan smith:

Not to be rude, but you really need to look more at the reference, stuff like the hair and chin looks way off.

A good method to reference is to split the actual image into squares so you can reference bit by bit which will eventually form into the whole image. I hope that helped!

@Seiseki well it is a WIP and i'm still learning how to do this right ;) and it's no where near being done
@SimTheDog: well i was just loooking back and forth at the ref and focusing on each part as it came up

Try painting it side by side. I understand it's a wip, but the first thing you need to get done is the basic head shape.

also if you resize your reference to 25% it'll be about the size you were going for so you can keep them nice and close to get the basic shape

Well i think i'll acutally restart it to get hte image size proper i don't think it should be anywhere as near in size as the ref but still a more decent size than what i picked XD
