Started practicing a couple of days ago, came up with this.

First of all, you should upload it as a .png or .gif, rather than .jpg. The .jpg-format creates extra noise and colors.

You say this is pixel art? Seems like it makes use of gradients and generated textures, in which case it belongs in the Low-Spec forums.

Other than that, I'd say the building itself is somewhat plain (when stripped of its details it's essentially a box), especially the roof, and not very functional/practical. For example; what's a window doing under a ladder? Why is the awning so large? It almost appears to cover the door and block in the windows. Take a look at real buildings and stores for reference.
