Title: chunk funk! now with 100% more sevenfingers
Post by: ptoing on May 22, 2006, 08:12:35 pm: c64 hires, 320x200, 16 colours, 2 colour per 8x8.

I first pixelled a 40x25 image of my face, scaled up 8x and then went from there. I just wanted to experiment and i think it cam out quite nice, tho i will prolly edit it a bit tomorrow to adjust some things so it looks a bit more like me.

i totally agree, its the first ive ever liked that has pulled off such a method so nicely.

Absolutely true, I've never seen it done so subtly. And as always, nice pallette-bending.

I love and respect Ptoing as very few people I've met on the 'net, and we do do a lot of things together, pixel-wise, because we hang out awesomely and it also happens we share an interest in the aesthetic qualities of the artform, but I don't actually think our art looks anything alike.
