And as I just upload I decide to check some references online.. seems I may have got the "lift" in the "feet" the wrong way round (sorry im not at all musically inclined, thats my brothers thing, im art (in the traditional sense) and tech).

Why did you dither(?) with purple?

He anti-aliased it with a blue purple because it makes it look more interesting than a flat gray AA. Same reason the wonderful smileys here are not just yellow and black like a lot of other sites. It gives the image a little more kick, to put it non-technically.  :crazy:

Hahaha I laughed at the whole anti-aliasing thing and the whole pixelation having anti-aliased icons, I never really noticed! I should dump my current monitor and use one of these ones in here. I like the icon (same thing for the Pixelation ones), and yeah, looks much better than raw black.
