This is my first portrait ever. Spent about an hour on it. What do you think?

Canvas size makes it feel cramped. Give it more room.


Only dither skin if you have very closely related shaded. Here, you don't.

The shadows for the eyes could be darker. Is the character a guy with long hair? The broken line on the left (his right side) breaks the flow of the hair. I think the face is drawn well. How many colours are used?
