It looks pretty good so far, IMO. But what's with the guy-holding-the-glowing-cross-thing's right shoulder? What is that thing on it?

EDIT: Oh nevermind, it's a rag. Cape. Or something like it. Not very important to the scene, anyway, but maybe make it a shade darker so we don't think it belongs to the sky? It's just minor, though.

his upper arm looks way longer than the lower arm, I think. I like The shading style tho!

I think the problem is the ghouls arm follows the shape of the other guys arm, moving it so its separate or overlapping would clear it up. If it is meant to be holding his shoulder you can just cast shadows over the ghouls arm, though the perspective tells me that isn't the case.

Crit on anatomy which you can take or leave being a mythical creature; the ghouls lowest rib (assuming that is a rib, it's hard to tell) would probably be angled more upward as the sternum would have stopped higher up and the rib would be fused with the one above (http://retilde.files.wordpress.com/2007/10/gray112.png). The rib cage in general is kind of hard to read.

There is some bad banding happening on the light beam guys (his) right shoulder. I think his arms could be less well defined on the whole, the muscles look too separated. The shadows are so deep below the shoulders it looks like a joint and give the illusion that his arms are bent there (more of a problem on his right one).

Other than that it would just be some nitpicks on the AA in some places (guys hair, on the hanging vine type things on the top right) in particular you AA 45 degree lines which isn't necessary for smoothing, only for shaping.

I really like the colours and the contrast on the ghoul looks great :y:

Did you change the image in the first post to an earlier version or something ??? I have to say the light beam guy looks much much better in the first post image.

Also I think you can just edit the title in your first post.

Your image links are all screwy but I'm saying the character in (http://i1131.photobucket.com/albums/m542/VictorRojo/Hide-1.gif) is better than in any of the other images. The newer ones (i.e. any that look like this (http://i1131.photobucket.com/albums/m542/VictorRojo/Hide--04.gif)) are far flatter.

WHAT UP V. I'm torn as to which I consider the best here, actually. Uhm, the older and the newer are distinctly different, IMO, because the focus shifts. See. . .

Here, the focal area is the ghoul and cross. The standing figure almost blends into the bg.

Here, the focus is more on the cross and standing figure, who now stands out as a foreground element.

EH!?

Hey V, got an explanation for this particular piece? You use crosses fairly often in yer stuff. In your work, what do they represent?
I like it when artists use recurring motifs, it paints a stronger picture of that artist's depicted world. Gives weight I think, a solidarity. But that's another topic.

EH!?
