Hey there, I'm attempting to make a bench and I'm not sure that I like how it's turning out so far:

I'm trying to keep it at 64x48. Any suggestions?

-More contrast, especially between the seat and the back support. It will help the illusion of depth.
-More defined edges.
-Different color choice, possibly with some hue shifting. The colors you have now are dull, and don't really pop much.
Just a few ideas to get you going on a redux.

Very helpful suggestions, thank you! I'm not quite sure what you meant by more defined edges, but I've went ahead and made a few changes:

Edit: Hmm..I feel like the back support should be even darker, huh?

Your proportion are a bit off, the bench should be larger.

I extended the length by 16 pixels, and cut off a couple pixels off the height. Does it look a bit more proportional?
Also, how does the arm rest look? It kind of doesn't look like part of the bench to me. Have any suggestions of what could be done to fix it?

I feel like I've come such a long way from what I started with, haha.

Not sure which style I like better...
I think I'm starting to come to a finished product, but if you have any ideas for improvement I'd love to hear them!
